Individual Note:
      WPA records list a Joseph Smalley married to Stella Misner having a
daughter Florence B on 5-7-1886. It is suspected they are the same.
Following his father's death in the Civil War, he became a guardian of
John R. Smalley. Father's pension records have both 1858 and 1859 as
birth year, however 1858 thought to be correct.
