My name is Lawrence J Rettinger and I have been studying the genealogy of my family for about 10 years. I have tried to summarize and publish the results of my research in this web site. The surnames from which I am directly descended, are: RETTINGER, PICKETT, SOMMERVILLE, RHEINBOLD, ATHEY, DROLL, WOEHL, COOLEY, COWDREY, HOFFMAN, FRIEND, CAMPBELL, MCCABE, and LINCOLN. Of course there are many more, but these are the ones on which I have done the most research.

Surnames which tie into my genealogy indirectly are: BREITWEISER, LANDES, ZICK, BESANT and PFRANG. All the above surnames are woven together to make up my genealogy and this WEB Page.
